- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream or Greek yogurt (optional)

- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare Chicken: Season chicken thighs with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook Chicken: Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet and brown the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
- Make Butter Sauce: Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Stir in chicken broth and simmer. Whisk in cream for extra richness.
- Cook Rice: Rinse rice, then cook it in a pot with chicken broth until tender.
- Combine and Simmer: Add chicken back to the skillet with the sauce. Simmer on low for 10-12 minutes.
