WinCo Hoagie Roll Recall: Check for Undeclared Sesame
WinCo Foods is recalling its own-brand 16-ounce hoagie rolls because sesame flour was omitted from the ingredient and allergen labeling. The company’s October 22 announcement, posted by the FDA, warns of a serious reaction for people with a sesame allergy or sensitivity.
Check the package: UPC 2-70552-00649-2, weight 16 oz (454 g), and best-by dates September 10 through November 3, 2026. The notice names WinCo stores in California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington. It does not identify every brand of hoagie roll as recalled.
For customers allergic or sensitive to sesame, WinCo’s advice is not to eat the affected rolls and to return them for a refund. No illnesses had been reported in the October 22 announcement; that statement is not a current illness count.
Match your bag against the linked official notice before using these rolls for sandwiches. Our editorial review date is separate from the recall and does not establish when it ends.
