Our story
Cooking is memory made visible.
I’m Evelyn, a 45-year-old mom, wife to James, and big sister to Melissa. Together, we write Lamy Recipes as a family project filled with love and tradition.
My cooking journey began in my grandmother’s kitchen, where I learned to cook with instinct, patience, and heart. Every recipe I share is a piece of her legacy — proof that food is more than flavor; it’s memory, warmth, and connection.
Today, our kitchen is the beating heart of our home, where every dish tells a story and every moment becomes a cherished memory.

Three generations
Why we created Lamy Recipes.
This blog was born to keep my grandmother’s memory alive. Today, with James by my side and Melissa sharing her own touch, it has become a place where stories, traditions and flavors meet.
“Every recipe is an invitation to gather, remember and make a new story of your own.”
